How to resize a picture on this forum

UPDATE:
The new software automatically resizes pictures to fit your computer screen,
so setting a width is no longer an issue and no longer works.
All pictures now fit any size screen you are using.

-------------------

I just posted a picture and it turned out larger than I really wanted it to be.
I was thinking there must be an easy way to make the picture smaller so it would look better in the post.

I tried several different things that didn't work then I came up with this:

Code: Select all

when you click the image button you get the tags

Code: Select all

[img][/img]
which will display the image full size
but if you add the width=600 then your image displays only 600 pixels wide
you can use other numbers if you like 400 or 700 better for your picture

example

full size

Image

width=600

Image

I guess I just don't follow this because both of your displayed example pics appear to be the same exact size. It's a neatpic regardless so thanx :)

you are right,

the new software does not allow resizing,
so both of the pictures are the same size,

but if the picture is larger than your screen then it will resize the picture automatically.

And the picture is from the new game on Rec Room called Lost Isles.
