isn't Justin Bieber from Canada? they could send him back, but other than that I don't think anyone cares how many people from Canada don't go back home.
It's not like they cause any problems.

So true....everyone keeps saying how nice we are. Ya can't fight the truth....

We don't hear much about JB these days. He has had his fun..while growing up...now married and enjoying his millions. I will check to see if he has a 'rap' sheet :)

2 days.. today and tomorrow.. then I'm into packing/moving/cleaning week. I take possession today but I'm not out of here till the 28th. I took the week off work.. Fun Fun Fun

-Hey.. I'm still looking for the "ultimate" wall cleaner stuff.. I have a bottle of Mr Clean at this point but I'm open to suggestions. Anybody know of something that you just wipe on and the walls instantly shine? I'm kind of allergic to hard work. My muscles get all tired and sore

It may not be the miracle cleaner I was looking for but it sounds promising. Its not even in the home cleaning section, it's in with the painting supplies. Trisodium Phosohate. Cheap too (if you buy the powder and add the water yourself). It's for prewashing areas you are going to paint (or garage floors, etc)

Code: Select all

Alrighty.. online at the new place.. speed test shows I am finally getting the 75Meg down , 8 up that I pay for..

They should write in HUGE letters that easy off will trash your linoleum!!! There was a pattern the exact size and shape around my oven door in dark red where i overshot with the stuff.. It was better once I spent 3 hours literally grinding the top layer off. I said the contractors could come in a day early so they had the kitchen floor covered with crap when I had my final walk through so I got away with it, but damn, that was crushing. I tried ammonia, bleach, oxi-clean, baking soda, peroxide, Mr Clean (liquid and magic eraser), tsp. and everything else I had. The only way to make it less noticeable was to grind the top layer off with a metal scrubby.

I am doing nothing today.. my hands are so sore I have even decided not to spend the day in the stripper bar.. ok.. I there is still time to reconsider that, but NO MORE LIFTING for sure

I read you are all moved in and cleaning till your hands are almost skinless.

Are you planning a party?

I haven't even started to unpack yet. Another day..

The place I moved out of (where I did the cleaning to try and get my damage deposit back) is having a contractor party for the next few days as they tear out the carpets and paint the place among other things

I moved because I finally convinced myself that my 21 year old daughter was not going to end up having to move back home. I downsized to a 2 bedroom (for my 17 year old son and I) instead of the 3 bedroom (where the price was going up and up every year). The problem was that the 3rd bedroom had become my "shop" over the last couple of years and I had added 10,000 pounds of motors, gears, transformers, etc to my hoard.
