How to post
Update:
We are using new software and no longer use the hidden tags anymore.
but you can watch this video on getting started posting:
the rest of this no longer applies to our site.
Just to tell you that all our links are hidden.
Its very easy to see any content that's hidden if you follow these steps.
1 Reply to the post that interests you.
2 Scroll back up and you will see the unhidden part.
3 If you still cant see, just refresh your browser.
4 If there are lots of pages, you will have to go to the page where the sharing post is.
for example:
[HIDE]
http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/tech/super ... meras.html
[/HIDE]
EDIT: Legend to reading Threads:
When links are checked by staff, a note is pasted in brackets [ ], giving information regarding the status of that link. They are as follows;
C&W: Link(s) checked and working,
LF: Dead link(s) fixed,
P: Link or Fix Pending replacement,
followed by the date checked, and the staff member doing the check, as in:
[C&W-Jan9-Rev]
This is used to let you all know that the link(s) in question is current and valid.

How to see the hidden links
useful to find links for new members, thanks..
Unable to see links
Please don't quote the original post in your reply.
I am new to this forum. I have read several time on how to see the hidden links but, when I click on the 'reply to thread' icon in the lower right corner (the word "quote" with a feather pen) all I get is a gray reply window with a cornucopia of icons and the original text in the white window. At the end it simply says "hidden links here -
." I refreshed my browser {the latest Firefox with Win XP SP3} but, still see nothing different.
Help,
Tim

You need to actually MAKE a reply, by clicking to icon in the lower LEFT, under the post....
If you're hitting the 'Quote' button', you are not making a REPLY....just click the button, type in 'thanks' or some such, and post the reply to see the links..

Thanks a lot. Much clearer when you explained it. Works like a charm. Again, thank you.

Thanks for the info, but I'm bored of this message, ''you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:.....''. From where do I'll get help about this, can you say please?.....That will be grateful for me. Whatever, thanks in advance.
